Empath

The complex imagery in this artwork represents the feeling of empathy through the use of the cool blue tones in the female figure, surreal goldfish floating in space around her and the background. Emotional emptiness is also captured in the nonsensical and dark composition of all the subjects. There are also psychological symbolisms behind the pose, shadows and lone figure. I wanted to evoke the audience and interpret their own meaning upon viewing this artwork.
